This is from the nomorefakenews website:

JULY 7, 2005. Note: I'll be adding updates to the text of this story as I get more information. I've already made additions to my original piece...

Tragedy in London...reports of deaths and casualties...several blasts in underground subways, and on buses....

I heard one assertion (CNN) that a cell phone could not have set off underground blasts, because mobile phone signals don't work in London subways. I've since received a further confirmation about mobile phones not working underground in London.

But if a person was standing on a train platform at a stop adjacent to a targeted train, and he had a remote transmitter...

Try to collect photos/video of exploded buses and trains, for future analysis. (One photo currently posted at MSNBC shows what appears to be a rather small red bus, not, as far as I can tell, a large double decker, as has been reported. Update: later video is more convincing that this is a double-decker with the top blown off.)

There will be little if anything reported in the press about actual crime scenes.

This is always the case. The tragedy is immediately taken into the realm of pointing a finger at the probable murderers, and then this is politicized.

Intentionally, OKC and WTC were never properly analyzed as specific crime scenes---and the debris was soon carted away out of view.

Internet investigators should study any and all available visual evidence, with an eye toward assessing the explosions themselves. Obvious factors such as which directions exploded material was headed should be noted. Don't assume anything. (For example, one or two photos of the USS Cole seemed to suggest that parts of the blown-up hull were headed outward away from the interior of the ship, indicating that there was an explosion inside the vessel---rather than the attack coming from small boats loaded with explosives coming toward the Cole.)

It might be possible for police to find bodies of suicide bombers (if that was how the explosions were set off) with traces of bomb devices in and around their bodies. If no evidence of this kind emerges, the explosions were done in a more sophisticated way.

The more sophisticated the op, the less likely it is that this was a few amateurs who were ordered to kill people at the same moment in 3 or 4 different locations.

Note, for future reference, that a great deal of international attention has recently been focused on London: the Downing Street memo, the Live 8 concert, the award of the 2012 Olympics to London, some press spillover from the G8 conference in Scotland.

A professionally planned op (as opposed to a rag-tag "al Qaeda" assault) could capitalize on all this attention on London to intensify the publicity focused on the bombings. From a psy-op or mind-control point of view, the more images of London people around the world are carrying in their heads before the attacks, the more real and fear-inducing the bombs become when they go off.

Don't automatically assume that the bombs were set off to "derail G8 from solving poverty in Africa." Solving poverty is merely a cover story for G8. That is not the intention of this meeting. On the other hand, G8 will surely make a number of statements about stepping up the "war on terrorism." The London bombings will grease the rails for a new round of promotion, out of Scotland, of "the war on terror." And polls will show that people are behind this (bogus) effort in greater numbers.

Is there evidence of recent intense shorting in global financial markets? Such shorts would suggest certain people knew the London attacks were coming.

Someone has emailed me what looks like an authentic AP piece that states the Israeli embassy in London was warned of possible London attacks a few hours before they happened. If so, who else was warned?

UPDATE: Here is the AP dispatch. It is posted as authentic, from a Google search:

(Jerusalem-AP) July 7, 2005 - A senior Israeli official says British police told the Israeli Embassy in London minutes before Thursday's explosions that they had received warnings of possible terror attacks in the city.
Israel was holding an economic conference in a hotel over the subway stop where one of the blasts happened, but the official didn't say whether British police made any link to the meeting. Officials say Israeli Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was supposed to attend the conference, but in response to the warning, didn't leave his hotel to attend the meeting.
Israel's foreign minister says he didn't know of any Israeli casualties.
The country's ambassador to London says the embassy is in a state of emergency, with no one allowed to enter or leave. Another official says all phone lines to the embassy were down.
Posted 7:23am by Bryce Mursch

However, we have another AP dispatch which contradicts the one above. Note the posting times, which are AP's. The one below indicates an updating of the story at 9:59, more than two hours after the AP story above. Is AP trying to erase the earlier information, which shows that the Israeli embassy in London was warned BEFORE the bombings? Is AP now making a substitution to cover tracks, by claiming that the warning came AFTER the first explosion?

Posted 7/7/2005 7:18 AM Updated 7/7/2005 9:59 AM

Netanyahu had been on way to London hotel near blasts JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was on his way to a hotel near the scene of one of the London blasts Thursday when he received a call to stay put, the foreign minister said. "After the first explosion, our finance minister received a request not to go anywhere," Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom told Israel Army Radio.

Netanyahu was to have been the scheduled keynote speaker at an Israeli corporate investment conference at the Great Eastern hotel near the Liverpool Street subway station. Conference participants were evacuated from the hotel. Shalom said he wasn't aware of any Israeli casualties. Netanyahu had been scheduled to stay in London until Sunday, but that could change, said Amir Gilad, a Netanyahu aide. Shalom speculated the attackers might have taken advantage of the fact that police resources were diverted to a meeting of Western leaders. The Israeli ambassador to London, Zvi Hefetz, said Thursday that British police had called to tell embassy personnel to stay inside their offices. "There is fear that this wave (of violence) has not yet ended," Hefetz said.

end 2nd AP dispatch

Note that, in the first AP piece, it was "British police" who issued the warning to the Israeli embassy. I have to wonder about that. The police---and not, say, British intelligence (which has a completely different resonance)---issued that warning? And again, was anyone else warned or just the Israeli embassy? If others were warned, why hasn't AP been able to find out who they were?

UPDATE: I have just searched sites for "AP Breaking" and "AP World." There is nothing on AP Breaking about the warning story. However, there is one and only one entry on AP World, and it is the SECOND and later AP dispatch I've just reproduced above. They've taken the first dispatch down. It's gone. Might still be available on Google.

UPDATE: Ireland-OnLine article...this piece was obviously written and filed before London authorities declared that bombs had exploded in the subways. It reflects the earliest assumptions about a mysterious POWER SURGE in London.

I want to preserve this story because, no doubt, it will go down into a black hole, and it seems to be based on real observations. If so, this London op has a lot more to it, in terms of tactics, than is being reported in the press. I've made a few comments in caps and brackets alongside the Ireland-OnLine text:

Several hurt as Tube 'power' blasts shut down network
07/07/2005 - 09:54:39

Several people were injured today after explosions blamed on a power surge closed down the entire London Underground network. [CLOSED DOWN THE WHOLE SUBWAY SYSTEM? WE HAVE HEARD NOTHING ABOUT THAT. LATER REPORTS FOCUS ON SIX EXPLOSIONS AT DIFFERENT POINTS IN THE UNDERGROUND.]

Passengers spoke of hearing a “huge thud” in one of the incidents at Edgware Road station. Travellers emerged from tunnels covered in blood and soot.

Emergency services reported several injuries.

Scotland Yard declared the emergency a “major incident”.

A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said that two trains remain stuck in tunnels at Edgware Road, but it is not known if they have collided or if passengers remain onboard. [THE REPORT IS OF STALLED AND STUCK TRAINS, NOT EXPLODED CARS ON TRAINS.]

“It’s difficult to know exactly what is going on at the moment,” he said.

“The initial report came from Liverpool Street, but there are incidents occurring across the network.”

He said that officers have been sent into the network to assist with rescue operations.

“Officers are working at tunnel and platform level to help get people out and to help find out what has happened,” he said.

Mainline train company First Great Western said its services into London's Paddington station were terminating at Reading in Berkshire because of the Underground crisis.

British Transport Police said power surge incidents, some of which caused explosions, occurred at Aldgate, Edgware Road, King's Cross, Old Street and Russell Square. [SOME POWER SURGES, BUT NOT ALL, CAUSED EXPLOSIONS. AND EXACTLY HOW DOES A POWER SURGE CAUSE AN EXPLOSION?]

A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We have just sent some resources out to the scene. We have sent a number of vehicles to Liverpool Street station.”

BTP confirmed that there are “walking wounded” and said paramedics have responded to one report of a person classed as “life at risk”.

“There are walking wounded, but that is as much as we know at the moment,” said the spokesman.

He confirmed that the first incident took place on the Metropolitan Line between Aldgate and Liverpool Street and said the line has been evacuated.

British Transport Police said work is being carried out to establish the precise cause of the problem.

“It’s chaos, with people trying to work out what has happened,” said a spokesman.

“All we know at the moment is that staff reported a loud bang at 8.49am.

“No one is sure what caused an explosion, but it is thought it could have been a collision, a power cut, or a power cable problem.”

A London Fire Brigade spokeswoman: “We have been called to two explosions, one at Aldgate and one at Edgware Road. We have no other information at the moment. Reports are still coming in.”

According to Tube infrastructure company Metronet, which is responsible for maintaining the Metropolitan line, today’s incident was caused “by some kind of power surge”. [SO THEY MUST HAVE SEEN A POWER SURGE ON THEIR METERS. WE ARE HEARING NOTHING MORE ABOUT THIS.]

A spokesman went on: “We don’t know the extent of the problem yet.”

The incident caused major disruption to the entire network with stations across the capital being closed. [AGAIN, THE ASSERTION THAT THE ENTIRE SUBWAY SYSTEM WAS AFFECTED, AND NOT JUST SIX PLACES.]

Passengers were told that all services were being suspended because of a power fault across the network.

One commuter whose train was diverted because of the chaos said travellers were told there had been a crash involving Tube trains near King’s Cross station.

“The area is solid with people and I have seen many commuters with blackened faces just walking around looking stunned,” said Gerard Bithell.

His overground train was diverted from Moorgate to King’s Cross because the station was closed.

“We were told there had been a power failure at Moorgate and some kind of accident at King’s Cross,” he said.

Passengers involved in the Metropolitan Line explosion at Edgware Road are reported to have attempted to smash the windows of their Tube carriages with umbrellas in an attempt to escape.

Police are thought to have been sent into tunnels to evacuate people along the tracks.

Bradley Anderson told Sky News that he was involved in the Edgware Road incident on a Circle line train.

He said: “We just left Paddington station. About 15 seconds later there was some kind of explosion and we collided with another train.

“We were heading into the station when there was some kind of explosion or something.

“Everything went black and we collided into some kind of oncoming train.

“There was debris all over the trains. They evacuated us.”

The National Grid, which supplies power to the Underground, said there had been no problems with its system this morning which could have contributed to the incidents. [FIRST, SEVERAL ASSERTIONS OF A POWER SURGE, AND THEN A DENIAL.]

Scotland Yard said they are assisting with what has been termed a ``major incident'' and confirmed there have been casualties.

A spokesman said officers were called out to Aldgate station at 8.50am to assist City of London and British Transport Police.

“All of the emergency services are on scene. There have been some casualties. This has been declared as a major incident,” said the spokesman.

“Too early to state what has happened at this stage.”

A witness who said he was on a train hit by an explosion told Sky News he saw people covered in blood in a carriage.

“People were covered in blood,” said the passenger.

UPDATE: It is, of course, typical of a planned op to use a convenient and USEFUL cover story to explain what happened. In this case, with the G8 meeting going on in Scotland, and the combined desire of those national leaders to blame "al Qaeda" and gain new traction for their endless "war on terrorism," it wasn't hard to predict who would get the pointed finger.

However, so far, no one has even speculated that the IRA could have been involved. This omission speaks to the unified official consensus that has quickly formed around al Qaeda. "Quickly formed" could obviously equal "pre-planned."

To refresh your memory and establish the track record of British accusations against the IRA---thus revealing the high strangeness of immediately accusing "al Qaeda" right away today, here is a partial list, culled and quoted from an April 15, 2001, BBC piece that presents a timeline of attacks in London.

BBC Television Centre, Shepherd's Bush, March 2001 Officers were carrying out a controlled explosion on a bomb in a taxi when it went off yards from the front door of BBC Television Centre. Staff had already been evacuated after police received a coded warning. A London Underground worker suffered deep cuts and some damage was caused to the front of the building.

MI6 spy headquarters, central London, September 2000 A rocket launcher device was used in an attack on the MI6 spy headquarters in central London. The missile shattered an eighth floor window on the southern side of the building, but there were no casualties. Dissident Irish republicans were the main suspects.

Ealing Broadway, July 2000 Police destroyed a bomb left near railway tracks near Ealing Broadway tube station. Dissident republican terrorist group the Real IRA was understood to be behind the attack.

Hammersmith Bridge, June 2000 A high grade bomb exploded underneath the bridge without warning. No one was injured but the blast caused traffic chaos. Dissident republican terrorist group the Real IRA was believed to be behind the attack.

Aldwych bus, February 1996 IRA man Edward O'Brien was blown up and killed by his own bomb when it accidentally detonated and ripped apart the bus on which he was travelling as it passed along Aldwych, central London.

Docklands, February 1996 The IRA signals the end of its first ceasefire with the bombing of South Quay in London's Docklands, killing two people and injuring many more.

Israeli Embassy, July 1994 14 people injured by a 30lb bomb at the embassy near Kensington Palace. A second bombing struck Balfour House in Finchley, north London, home of an Israeli charity, 12 hours later. Four people were slightly hurt. Islamic extremists were blamed.

Heathrow Airport, March 1994 The IRA launched a series of mortar attacks on the airport, partially paralysing the capital's main air route.

Bishopsgate, April 1993 An IRA truck bomb devastated the Bishopsgate area of London's financial centre, killing one and injuring 44, as well as causing damage running into hundreds of millions of pounds.

City of London, April 1992 Three killed when IRA bomb exploded outside the Baltic Exchange.

Downing Street, February 1991 The IRA fired mortar bombs at Downing Street during a Gulf War Cabinet meeting presided over by the then Prime Minister, John Major. No one hurt.

Harrods, December 1983 Six killed, three of them police, and 90 injured in IRA bombing.

Hyde Park, July 1982 Eleven soldiers killed and 50 people injured in attacks on Household Cavalry in Rotten Row and at the band stand in Regent's Park.
Dorchester Hotel, June 1982 A gunman linked to the notorious terrorist Abu Nidal, leader of the Fatah Revolutionary Council, shot and crippled Shlomo Argov, Israel's 53-year-old ambassador to London, in an attack outside the hotel in Park Lane.

House of Commons, March 1979 Airey Neave MP, the then shadow Northern Ireland Secretary and a close friend of Tory leader Margaret Thatcher, was killed by an Irish National Liberation Army car bomb in the Commons' car park.

Europa Hotel, Mayfair, August 1978 An El Al air hostess was killed and six fellow crew members injured in a gun and grenade attack, carried out by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), on a coach outside the hotel in Mayfair. One of the bombers also died.

end BBC timeline

UPDATE: The Times of India, relying on CNN and BBC, reports:

...bus explosion rocked at central London at 10:14 am. At 10:25 am, Police confirmed explosion on bus in central London in the area around Russell Square. And at 10:33 am police confirmed that at least three explosions had taken place in buses in central London.

end Times snip

The Times is saying that, all in all, at least 3 bus explosions have been reported in central London. I'm including that snip, and preserving it for posterity, because many press outlets are only reporting one bus incident.

 7/7 impossible - Mock Terror Drills (i.e 9-11?)

JULY 10, 2005. We have two articles, close to identical in many respects. Al Jazeera, and a Prison Planet piece by Paul Joseph Watson and Alex Jones. If the Jazeera article is a lift from Watson and Jones, there is no attribution.

The info indicates that there were terror drills going on at the same time, in London, as the real thing was happening. In the same places.

I have looked for massive mainstream coverage on this, but I have not found it.

Before reprinting an excerpt from the Al Jazeera piece, I want to point out two resonances. One, the many press statements following the London bombings that praised officials for being so ready and so competent and fast in carrying out their rescue and investigation tasks. Perhaps this was because organized terror drills were happening simultaneously. And two, in the aftermath of the London attacks, we have been hearing that UK officials knew all along something like this would happen, it was inevitable, there was nothing that could be done to stop it.

Bomb drill exercise simultaneously occurred as London attacks7/10/2005 8:30:00 AM GMT

A consultancy agency with government and police connections was running a drill exercise for an unnamed company which revolved around the London Underground being bombed at the exact same times and locations as was happening in real life on July 7th.

In a BBC Radio 5 interview which was aired on that very evening, July 7th, the host interviewed Peter Power, Managing Director of Visor Consultants, a firm which labels itself as a 'crisis management' advice company, also known as a PR firm.

Peter Power was a former Scotland Yard official, working at one time with the Anti Terrorist Branch.

Visor's managing director told the radio show's host that at the exact same time as the London bombings were taking place, his company was running a 1,000 person strong exercise drill in which the London Underground was being bombed at the exact same locations, at the exact same times, as happened in real life. The transcript is as follows.

POWER: At half past nine this morning we were actually running an exercise for a company of over a thousand people in London based on simultaneous bombs going off precisely at the railway stations where it happened this morning, so I still have the hairs on the back of my neck standing up right now.

HOST: To get this quite straight, you were running an exercise to see how you would cope with this and it happened while you were running the exercise?

POWER: Precisely, and it was about half past nine this morning, we planned this for a company and for obvious reasons I don't want to reveal their name but they're listening and they'll know it. And we had a room full of crisis managers for the first time they'd met and so within five minutes we made a pretty rapid decision that this is the real one and so we went through the correct drills of activating crisis management procedures to jump from slow time to quick time thinking and so on.

The fact that the exercise mirrored the exact locations and times of the bombings goes beyond to it being a 'coincidence'. According to Power the drill focused around 'simultaneous bombings'. At first the bombings were thought to have been spread over an hour, but that was later confirmed by police as being wrong and that in fact the bombings were only seconds apart, therefore simultaneous.

Whether Mr. Power and Visor Consultants were 'in on the bombing' or anything of that nature is not that important as the British government or one of their private company offshoots could have hired Visor to run the exercise for a number of purposes. This is precisely what happened on the morning of September 11th 2001 with the CIA conducting drills of flying hijacked planes into the WTC and Pentagon at 8:30 in the morning.
